Girls Club Coordinator:
Beverly Damiani has been involved in the Missionette Program since the early 70's. At that time she was a Prim Sponsor at another church having taught all three of her daughters.
When Family Worship Center moved into their present facilities in 1989 Beverly began to coordinate the M. Program.
The program has been in place every Wednesday from September to June ever since.
Beverly enjoys seeing the girls learn and develop lasting friendships in the Clubs. She also loves to see the Sponsors grow in their own spiritual lives and pour into the lives of the girls in their Club.
Rainbow Sponsors:
Julia Hamrick was involved with Daisies in 2007 and then moved to Rainbows in 2008. She loves working with young children and is amazed at how the Lord is consistently moves her in the direction of children’s ministry.
Jan Winter began teaching Rainbows (3 and 4 year olds) in 2008. She loves working with children and answered the call of the Lord when a Rainbow sponsor when needed. Jan feels so rewarded knowing that at the end of each Wednesday evening, the little ones leave with a better knowledge of God’s love.
Daisy Sponsors:
Christine Delaporte has been with Daisies from 2004 - 2006. Coming back in 2009. Christine has a couple girls of her own and enjoys teaching the Dasies class.
Janet Faul has been working with the Daisy Club since 2004. She enjoys helping the girls learn Bible stories, especially since they are now old enough to sit still and hear the Word. Janet believes that treating each girl with love and respect opens the door for Jesus' love..
Prim Sponsors:
Chrissy Floyd has been teaching Prims since 1989. She was a Prim herself when growing up. She loves the first and second grade girls and loves the program and feels she is privileged to be able to serve the Lord by pouring into their lives.
Peg McMunn has been involved with missionettes for many years. She began with the rainbows and then began assisting Chrissy Floyd with Prims. Most of Peg’s nursing career has been in pediatrics and so it seemed natural to be involved with children in ministry. She enjoys teaching and considers it a joy and a privilege to be used to instill God’s Word and principles into the lives of young girls.
Stars 1 Sponsors:
Heather Damiani has been with our Girl's Club since 2007. Her prayer is for the girls is to experience God. She wants them to look forward to coming to class because they sense the presence of the Holy Spirit and know that they are loved and accepted! She desires to see them grow in God and develop a passion to obey Him and have a life long relationship with Him.
Renee Pringle has been with our Girl's Club since 2009. Having 4 daughters of her own, Renee has experienced the steps a girl takes from daisies to the crowning. Renee knows the positive influence this program had on her daughters and is glad to be part of a team to help other girls experience the same joys her girls experienced.
Stars 2 & 3:
Sandy Williams began as a sponsor in 1999 when her daughters got involved in the program. Sandy continues to be a sponsor because she saw the great benefits the program had on her daughters. Sandy has seen the girls hold onto the Bible lessons they learned and the memory verses they memorized for the rest of their lives. Sandy wants to pass that on to as many young girls as she can. Sandy wishes she had gone through such a great program when I was younger.
Martha Cassel has been with our Girl's Club since 2001. Martha enjoys seeing the development of the girls. She loves their openness, their purity and their absorption of the lessons to learn about Christ.
Stars 4:
Sue Shoaf started teaching in the Girl's Club program in 1989. Sue loves teaching the girls because she knows the Lord has called her to teach. Her love is expressed continually towards these girls long after they leave the program. She has a desire to pour into their lives through mentoring and feels very rewarded and blessed by God when working with these girls.
Additional Helpers:
Yazmin Pinilla is an Assistant Coordinator who began working with the Girl's Club in 2003. When living in Columbia she worked for 6 years with children. She loves to impact the girls lives with the most amazing love of all, the love of Jesus. Having 2 children of her own, Yazmin desires to see this ministry impact our generation. Yazmin has the knowledge and passion for technology and administration. She endeavors to make each sponsors work easier by inputting information in a program called Mpact Navigator. She is always available to fill in to teach when needed.
Mattea McCallum has been helping in Rainbows since 2008. She enjoys working as a little boys wrap-a-round since he is autistic. Mattea states that working in this capacity is challenging and fun. She also enjoys working with younger children and enjoys working with Ms. Jan and Ms. Julia, the Rainbow sponsors.
Isabella Damiani has been working with the Rainbows since 2009. She enjoys working with the Rainbows, stating that they are sweet and cute, and really enjoys working with the preschoolers who are so energetic and interested in learning. Isabella has always loved children and enjoys working with Ms. Jan and Ms. Julia, the Rainbow sponsors.
