Read Isaiah 6. What an amazing Prophet Isaiah was!
Below we see how:
 
• Isaiah had a vision and a bold message
• The message that God gave Isaiah is a message for us today
• We need to continue to take God’s message of forgiveness and love and hope to others.
 
What was the message that God gave Isaiah for the people (and for us today)?
 
Remember - everything we have done that displeased God. Once we take a look at the way we have acted and the way we have treated God, we will realize that we have not been living the way God wants.
 
Repent - the thing we have to do is repent...admit that we’ve done something wrong - disobeyed God. And then, once we’ve admitted it, we ask God to forgive us for what we’ve done. Then, God does something awesome, incredible, extreme! He no longer holds our sin against us. He forgets about it once we repent!
 
Receive - God wants us to receive the wonderful future He has planned for us. In order to receive this from God, we need to follow Him! Without following God, our future will never be what God has intended it to be.
 
Rejoice - because of His unending goodness! God wants us to recognize and celebrate how good He is.
 
Responsibility - Isaiah is not the only one who has the responsibility of telling God’s bold message. We have the responsibility as God-followers to tell Isaiah’s bold message, even if our lips have not been touched by a burning coal!
